About Auntie Anne's
Auntie Anne's is the soft pretzel chain that started in a Pennsylvania farmers market in 1988 and now sells fresh pretzels, nuggets and pretzel dogs at 1,700+ locations.
Most of the savings run through Auntie Anne's Rewards, which earns 10 points per $1 and turns every 250 points into a free pretzel.
Auntie Anne's traces its story to founder Anne Beiler, who first baked pretzels to raise money for her husband's plan to offer free family counseling in their community, a goal he later reached by opening a counseling center. From that one market stand the business grew into what the company calls the largest soft pretzel franchise in the world, and it says giving back has been central to its purpose from the start.
The brand is run today by Auntie Anne's Franchisor SPV LLC and offers franchise opportunities, a K-12 program and packaged retail products alongside its shops. It has its own ordering app, publishes nutrition information and an animal welfare statement, and its gift cards can also be used at several sister restaurant brands in the U.S.
When shoppers look for Auntie Anne's coupons
Auntie Anne's coupon searches peak in August, about 1.5× a typical month, and dip lowest in February.
Auntie Anne's shipping, returns and perks
- Auntie Anne's Rewards
- 10 points per $1 spent, with a free pretzel for every 250 points, on sign-up with a purchase and on your birthday.
- Joining offer
- A free pretzel when you join Auntie Anne's Rewards and buy at least one other item within 45 days.
- Where Rewards don't apply
- Auntie Anne's/SUBWAY locations and some travel venues sit outside the program.
- Combining offers
- Rewards offers are single use and can't be paired with any other offer, reward or third-party delivery order.
- Ordering
- Online or app orders can be delivered from most locations, so check your local store; party buckets of nuggets or mini pretzel dogs feed 8-10.
- Service fee
- Online, in-app and certain call-in orders carry a service fee on top of the food.
- App deals
- Auntie Anne's lists an app discount, but no amount was stated on the pages read.

How to use a Auntie Anne's coupon
- The current Auntie Anne's deals come through Rewards rather than codes typed into a box.
- Sign up in the app or online first, since the joining pretzel needs one other item bought within 45 days, and the birthday pretzel only reaches members.
- Member offers, like $3 off Mozzarella Stuffed Nuggets plus a drink, are single use and won't combine with any other offer or reward.
- They also don't work on third-party delivery, so order through Auntie Anne's own app or site to keep the discount.
- Expect a service fee on online and in-app orders.
If your Auntie Anne's code doesn't work
- Combining offers: Rewards offers are single use and not valid with any other offer, reward or third-party delivery.
- New customers only: One free pretzel on a first order (join Auntie Anne's Rewards and buy at least one other item within 45 days) does not apply to repeat orders.
- App offer: Auntie Anne's has a discount for orders in its app.
- End date: "20%" ends Nov 9, 2026.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at Auntie Anne's
- Party buckets of nuggets or mini pretzel dogs feed 8-10, which covers a group in one order.
- Buying gift cards in bulk from $500 brings bulk discounts, and those cards also spend at Carvel, Cinnabon and the other sister brands.
- If a food order comes out wrong, how Auntie Anne's handles refunds isn't spelled out in what was read, so contact the location that made it or check your order confirmation.
