About Barker and Stonehouse
Barker and Stonehouse is a family-run UK furniture retailer, trading since 1946, selling sofas, beds, mattresses, dining tables, storage and garden furniture online and in its stores.
Check the exclusions before anything else: discount codes don't apply to Tempur, Simba or English Heritage pieces, or to anything already on another promotion.
Barker and Stonehouse grew out of an idea shared by two young RAF men who wanted a furniture shop of their own, and in 2026 the business is celebrating 80 years of trading. It has since grown to 10 stores, 3 concessions and 2 outlets, and it also sells through several online marketplaces.
Alongside its own ranges, the retailer carries furniture and bedding from a long roster of outside makers, and it organizes much of the catalog by room, material and style, from Scandi and mid-century looks to boucle pieces. Shoppers can book an interior design service that works through a four-stage process, every product comes with a 2-year guarantee against manufacturing defects, and the company is a registered member of the Furniture Ombudsman.
