About Billy J
Billy J is an Australian boutique built around dresses: mini, midi and maxi styles, party and wedding-guest looks, bridesmaid dresses and bridal accessories, priced in Australian dollars.
The rule to plan around is the short returns window of 7 days for full-price pieces, and orders that used a sale, influencer or affiliate code get store credit rather than a refund.

7 days for unworn, unwashed, tagged full-price items, refunded to the original payment method or as 110% store credit.

How to use a Billy J coupon code
- Billy J's store runs on Shopify, so the discount box appears in the order summary on the checkout page.
- The welcome code arrives after you join the mailing list, works on a first purchase over A$60 only, and expires 30 days after it's issued.
- It's one use only and can't be combined with other offers.
- Weigh the returns trade-off too: an order placed with a sale, influencer or affiliate code can only come back as store credit, while a full-price order without such a code qualifies for a refund within 7 days under the returns policy.
If your Billy J code doesn't work
- Combining offers: The welcome code is one use only and cannot be combined with other offers.
- New customers only: 10% off a first order (join the mailing list to get a one-use code for a first purchase over $60 AUD; it expires 30 days after issue) does not apply to repeat orders.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at Billy J
- Click and collect from the Kunda Park warehouse is free, which saves the A$9.95 standard charge on smaller orders if you're nearby.
- When you return a full-price piece, 110% store credit is worth more than a refund, as long as you'll spend it within 3 years.
- Billy J names Black Friday and Boxing Day as its busy sale periods, and it may give store credit only on returns then, so read the returns terms before a sale order.
Billy J questions, answered
How much is Billy J shipping to the USA?
Standard delivery to the USA costs US$10 under US$150 and is free above that, taking about 6-9 business days. USA prices include duties, and sales tax is paid at checkout.
Can Billy J dresses be returned for a refund?
The returns policy refunds unworn, unwashed, tagged full-price items within 7 days, but Billy J's help FAQ says there are no change-of-mind refunds, so the two pages disagree. Orders that used a sale, influencer or affiliate code get store credit only.
How do bridesmaid group returns work at Billy J?
Buy 3 or more bridesmaid dresses in a single order and they can be returned for a full refund within 21 days of delivery. Postage isn't refunded, and discounted dresses don't qualify.
How fast does Billy J dispatch orders?
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. For A$24.95, express orders within Australia placed before 1pm AEST leave the same business day.
Is there a Billy J student discount?
A student discount page is linked from the site footer, but its terms didn't load, so the amount and how students verify are unknown.
