  1. The discount field sits in the COMMENSE checkout, and the order total changes only after the Apply button is pressed, so a code typed in but never applied saves nothing.
  2. Because the shop accepts one code per order, a percentage code and a dollar-off code cannot be combined, and a shopper holding store credit has to choose between that balance and a promo.
