About Brooklyn Bedding

Brooklyn Bedding builds its mattresses at its own family-owned factory in Phoenix, Arizona, and also sells pillows, sheets, toppers, protectors, adjustable bases and bed furniture.

The rule that shapes a purchase here is the 365-night trial: a mattress return is free, but only after a 30-day break-in, and adjustable bases are final sale.

Brooklyn Bedding traces back to 1995, when brothers John and Rob Merwin started out as mattress liquidators in the Phoenix valley before learning to design their own beds. The company was an early mover in bed-in-a-box mattresses in 2008, is named after John's daughter Brooklyn, and also produces mattresses for a number of private-label brands.

Its lineup includes the Signature Hybrid, Aurora Luxe Cooling, ThermoBalance, CopperFlex, Plank Firm Luxe, Titan Plus Luxe, Sedona and Spartan models, plus BB Kids mattresses and beds sized for RVs. Beyond mattresses it makes Ascension adjustable power bases, the Nora bed frame and nightstand, dorm toppers and a BB Pet Bed. Mattresses carry a limited lifetime warranty, and some purchases can be paid with HSA or FSA funds through Truemed.
