About Silentnight
Silentnight is a UK sleep brand of around 80 years, selling mattresses, beds, headboards and bedding such as duvets, pillows, toppers and electric blankets, with its mattresses and beds made in its own UK factory.
UK orders over £49 ship free, including room-of-choice delivery for beds and mattresses, so on a big buy the delivery is already covered.
Silentnight started life in the north of England in 1946 as Clarkes Mattresses and took its current name in 1951; its Hippo & Duck characters followed in 1986. The company became a Certified B Corporation in 2025, has pledged to reach net-zero emissions by 2040, and in 2023 was appointed official bed supplier to a hotel chain across the UK and Europe. In 2026 it became Manchester City's official sleep partner.
Mattresses are grouped by feel and material: comfort breathe for hot sleepers, UltraGel built around a highly breathable foam that moves heat away, memory foam, a plant range using flax, kapok, bamboo and aloe vera, and a wool range filled with British Wool from Cheviot sheep. The rolled Sleep Now mattresses arrive boxed. Registering within 3 months of purchase unlocks a free guarantee of 15 years on mattresses and 10 years on divans, headboards and bed frames.

How to use a Silentnight discount code
- Silentnight takes its promo code at checkout.
- The current Spend & Save codes are tiered, giving £50 off, £120 off, or £200 off orders over £1,500.
- Only one Spend & Save code works per order, and it can't sit alongside another promo code, so pick the tier that fits your basket instead of trying to add two.
- The 25% off the Dual Climate mattress shows as a banner price, so see whether a Spend & Save code still applies to it before you pay.
- Remember that refunds close 14 days after receipt.
If your Silentnight code doesn't work
- Minimum order: "£200 off orders over £1,500 with code SAVE200" needs an order of at least £1.
- Combining offers: Only one Spend & Save code per order, and it can't be combined with another promo code.
- Where to enter it: Enter the promo code at checkout.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at Silentnight

- Free old-mattress recycling is on offer this autumn too, though removal can otherwise cost extra.
- Klarna Pay in 3 and the 0% finance shown on product listings spread the cost of a bed.
- Registering a new mattress within 3 months secures its 15-year guarantee at no charge.
Silentnight questions, answered
Can you return a Silentnight mattress?
Undamaged items bought on silentnight.co.uk can be refunded within 14 days of receipt. After that there are no refunds, but a qualifying mattress can be exchanged within 60 days of delivery under the 60-Night Comfort Exchange.
Can you use two Silentnight codes on one order?
Only one Spend & Save code applies per order, and it can't be combined with another promo code.
Does Silentnight deliver to Ireland?
The FAQ says delivery covers UK postcodes only, which leaves out Ireland. The terms and conditions name the Republic of Ireland as part of the delivery territory, so ask the store before ordering.
How fast does a Silentnight mattress arrive?
Sleep Now rolled mattresses arrive within 48 hours on orders placed Monday to Friday. Other mattresses and divan beds take 10-14 days, and there's no next-day delivery.
Can you pay for Silentnight in instalments?
Klarna Pay in 3 and Klarna Pay in 30 days are accepted, alongside Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and PayPal.
