How Cengage discounts work
Cengage's main way to save is Cengage Unlimited, a student subscription. It gives you all of Cengage's learning platforms and thousands of eBooks for one flat price.
If your instructors assigned you more than one Cengage product this term, the subscription could cost less than buying each one. It also includes up to four textbook rentals, where you pay only shipping and handling. It doesn't auto-renew.
Have a coupon? Enter it in the Promo Code box at checkout and click Apply.
About Cengage
Cengage sells course materials for higher education and K-12: print textbooks, eBooks, digital homework platforms and the Cengage Unlimited subscription, for students, instructors and institutions.
The rule to know before paying is the return window, since print textbooks and physical media can come back within 21 days of purchase.
When shoppers look for Cengage coupons
Cengage coupon searches peak in January, about 3× a typical month, and dip lowest in December.
What is Cengage's return policy?
Print textbooks and physical media get 21 days from purchase and must be returned in the condition received, with the packing slip.

How to use a Cengage discount code
- Cengage's pages, as read for this page, don't show where a discount code goes, so look for the field during checkout and make sure the reduction appears before you pay.
- Think about format first: a print textbook keeps a 21-day return window, while access codes and eBooks are refundable only under limited usage conditions.
- If your course asks for a digital homework platform, confirm the exact product with your instructor before you order, because using an access code may limit a refund.
More ways to save at Cengage
- Cengage Unlimited is the store's subscription, sold next to single textbooks and eBooks, so compare its price with the one title your course needs.
- Shipping costs and delivery times aren't stated on the Cengage pages read for this page; check the cart summary for them before you pay.
