About Cricket
Cricket is a prepaid, no-contract carrier on the AT&T 5G network, selling phone plans, phones and smartwatches, tablet and hotspot data, and 5G Home Internet.
Its listed plan prices assume Auto Pay, so enroll or pay $5 more each month. Prepaying a 12-month plan on your own phone gives the biggest yearly saving.
Cricket's monthly phone plans come in four tiers: Sensible with 10GB of data, then Select Unlimited, Smart Unlimited and Supreme Unlimited, and families can put 4 lines on one account for $100 a month. On Select and Smart Unlimited, video plays in standard definition and data may be slowed when the network is crowded.
Undecided shoppers can test the network first with the tryCricket app, which runs a 14-day trial alongside their current carrier. iPhone owners on Cricket can add an Unlimited Smartwatch plan for $10 a month. The site also offers device trade-ins, an online quiz that suggests a plan, round-the-clock help from a digital assistant chat, and a Spanish-language version.
