About DAVIDsTEA
DAVIDsTEA sells loose-leaf tea, sachets and matcha, plus mugs, steepers, matcha tools, samplers and advent calendars.
The Canadian-based company opened one Toronto store in 2008 and now ships US orders from a US warehouse. For your basket, $75 is the number to watch, because US orders at that level ship free.
DAVIDsTEA moved online in 2010, opened its first US shops in 2012, reached grocery shelves in 2018 and began selling through Amazon in 2021; it now runs more than 20 stores across Canada. The range covers 150+ teas and matchas, sorted by type (herbal, green, black, white, oolong, pu'erh, rooibos and mate), by flavor, by time of day and by wellness theme such as sleep, digestion or focus, with caffeine-free and organic filters.
Matcha gets its own section of ceremonial powders, drink mixes, hojicha and tools such as whisks, bowls and matcha makers, along with recipes for iced drinks, baking and TeaPop mocktails. The free Frequent Steeper rewards program turns points into free tea, and the brand also lists a Manoomin collaboration and an ambassador program.
When shoppers look for DAVIDsTEA coupons
DAVIDsTEA coupon searches peak in December, about 2× a typical month, and dip lowest in June.
Does DAVIDsTEA offer free shipping?
Yes. Kicks in for US orders of $75; the policy doesn't state what delivery costs on a smaller tea order.
How long does DAVIDsTEA shipping take?
About 48 hours to pack, or up to 5 business days in busy periods, then 3-5 business days across the continental US.
What is DAVIDsTEA's return policy?
Exchanges or returns within a month of delivery, refunded to the original payment method, or to a DAVIDsTEA gift card if that method has lapsed.
What payment methods does DAVIDsTEA accept?
Credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and DAVIDsTEA gift cards are accepted.

How to use a DAVIDsTEA coupon
- At DAVIDsTEA checkout, codes go in the "Discount Code and Gift Card" section.
- On a desktop that section sits on the right; on a phone, tap "Add discount" just above the order summary to open it.
- The 10% welcome offer comes through the email list, so subscribe before you reach checkout rather than after the order is placed.
- Weigh one trade-off before using a code on promotional tea: promotional and clearance items are final sale, so a blend you haven't tasted yet can't go back under the 30-day guarantee.
More ways to save at DAVIDsTEA
- Frequent Steeper costs nothing to join, and its points turn into free tea, which pays off if you reorder the same blend.
- Pairing a sampler with a mug or steeper can lift a basket to $75 and remove the delivery charge.
- Gift cards are sold on the site with a balance checker, though they're final sale once bought, so get the amount right.
