About Purity Coffee

Purity Coffee roasts organic, third-party lab-tested coffee with a health focus, sold as whole bean, ground, pods, sachets and decaf, starting from USDA certified organic arabica.

A subscription is what shapes the price most: it takes 20% off whole bean and 10% off pods and sachets, and subscribers get inventory reserved for them during shortages.

Purity Coffee was started by Andrew Salisbury after his wife, Amber, went through a period of severe, unexplained fatigue and he began researching how coffee affects health, a search that led him to Vanderbilt University's Institute of Coffee Studies. The couple later built the company together with Jon and Missy Butcher as business partners.

The beans are regeneratively farmed, hand-picked specialty grade and certified Smithsonian Bird Friendly, and they are screened for mold and mycotoxins before a roast designed to retain chlorogenic acids. The company says it has measured CGA and trigonelline in its coffee since its founding. The range also includes the single-origin Sacred Cups Collection, a single-origin decaf and 5 lb bags.
