About Dollar General
Dollar General is a discount retailer stocking groceries, household essentials, beauty, health, toys, pet, baby and seasonal goods, with many items at $1.
Most of the saving runs through a free myDG account. It holds the digital coupons and cash back, and you need it to order same-day myDG Delivery.

How to use a Dollar General coupon
- At Dollar General you clip savings rather than type them.
- Sign in to a free myDG account in the app or on dollargeneral.com, clip the digital coupons you want, and eligible ones apply to a DG Delivery order.
- Paper manufacturer coupons and DG Cash aren't accepted for delivery, and cash back you earn can only be spent in a store.
- Some products can't be delivered at all, including alcohol, certain medicines, tobacco, prepaid gift cards, mobile phones and other age-restricted items.
- Check the cart before you order, because a delivery order can only be canceled until a shopper is assigned.
If your Dollar General code doesn't work
- Exclusions: DG Delivery cannot be used for alcohol, certain medicines, tobacco, prepaid gift cards, mobile phones, phone cards or any age-restricted items.
- Combining offers: Digital coupons can be used on DG Delivery orders if eligible; paper manufacturer coupons and DG Cash are not accepted for delivery, and cash back earned can only be used in store.
- New customers only: One free delivery fee on a first order (clip the offer in the Dollar General app or on dollargeneral.com with a myDG account; applies to the first myDG Delivery order) does not apply to repeat orders.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.

- Choosing a later delivery window instead of ASAP skips the extra $1 fee.
- The 15% tip is filled in by default, and you can change it before you place the order.
- Cash back from myDG piles up for your next store visit, since it can't be spent on delivery.
