About EaseUS

EaseUS sells downloadable Windows and Mac software for data recovery, disk partitioning, backup, PC transfer and multimedia, and has done so since 2004.

The license term drives the price more than any code: Data Recovery Wizard Pro for Windows lists at $69.95 a month, $99.95 a year or $149.95 for a lifetime license, so choosing the right term comes first.

EaseUS traces its products back to 2003, when it released Partition Table Doctor, a DOS utility for repairing partition tables and boot records; the company itself was formally established the following year. Data Recovery Wizard followed in 2005, Partition Master in 2006 and Todo Backup in 2009. The site and software are run by CHENGDU Yiwo Tech Development Co., Ltd.

The current lineup also includes Disk Copy for drive cloning, Todo PCTrans for moving files and applications to a new PC, MobiSaver for iPhone and Android data, and Fixo for repairing corrupted videos, photos and documents. On the multimedia side it offers the VoiceWave voice changer, an online vocal remover and the Recexperts screen recorder. Several tools come in Free, Pro and Technician editions.
