About Groome Transportation
Groome Transportation runs shared-ride airport shuttles between more than 100 cities and 13+ major US airports, plus campus transit, military-base, charter and group trips.
The company, family owned since 1934 and based in Richmond, Virginia, lets you cancel or change by 11:59 p.m. the day before travel, the rule to know before you pick a cheaper fare.
Groome's routes feed hub airports including Atlanta, Denver, Orlando, Phoenix and the San Francisco Bay Area, drawing riders from smaller cities such as Sedona, Duluth and Monterey. The company reports 1,000+ daily trips and runs around the clock, with riders dropped and collected at the terminal curb. Service to Tampa International Airport is scheduled to end on 11/01/2026.
Riders are asked to check in at least 15 minutes ahead of departure, and a booking does not promise that the shuttle will hold for a late flight. Most Groome offices offer free parking, which suits travelers who drive to the pickup point. Rules can differ between locations, so each location page sets the terms that apply there, and a Preferred Riders program is handled through the local office.
When shoppers look for Groome Transportation coupons
Groome Transportation coupon searches stay fairly even all year: January leads, August trails.

How to use a Groome Transportation discount code
- Groome's pages, as read for this page, don't show a discount code box or explain how codes work, so check the booking screen for one before you pay.
- What they do spell out is timing.
- A change or cancellation made by 11:59 p.m. the day before travel keeps your money: refundable fares come back as a refund, and nonrefundable fares turn into travel credit good for one year.
- Policies can differ by location, and the location page governs, so read the page for your airport before choosing a nonrefundable fare.
More ways to save at Groome Transportation

- Frequent riders can ask their local office about Preferred Riders, since the page gives no details beyond that.
