About Joybird

Joybird builds customizable, handcrafted modern furniture, from sofas and sectionals to beds, tables and outdoor pieces, as part of La-Z-Boy.

Sending a sofa back costs a 50% restocking fee plus shipping, so the biggest saving is ordering the right piece first. The free swatch kit and free design services help you get fabric and fit right before you pay.

Much of Joybird's catalog leans toward mid-century modern design, with named collections such as Briar, Eastwood, Hopson and Roddy next to softer contemporary lines like Bryant, Lewis and Denna and modular seating such as Holt. Pieces are made to order by artisans in the company's own workshop, and Joybird says there are more than 18,000 ways to customize its furniture across over 80 colors, pet-friendly fabrics among them.

A Joybird x Pantone collaboration adds its own fabric palette, and the brand plants trees through a partnership with the non-profit One Tree Planted. Buyers who are unsure about upholstery can place an order first and settle on a fabric within 90 days, and the furniture carries a limited lifetime warranty. Showrooms and a 3D room planner support the online store.

How to use a Joybird promo code

  1. Joybird takes promo codes during checkout, but limited edition pieces won't accept any promotional discount, so check the product page before counting on a code.
  2. Spend-based Buy More, Save More promotions need extra care.
  3. Returning or cancelling part of that order can shrink the discount, and the refund with it.
  4. Settle on the full room before you buy rather than trimming the order afterward.
  5. If the price of something you bought falls within 14 days, ask for the difference instead of cancelling and reordering.
  6. Cancelling after 24 hours already costs 15%, and clearance, flash sales and warehouse sales don't qualify for the adjustment.
