About Matalan
Matalan is a UK value fashion and homeware chain selling clothing for the whole family, school uniform, footwear, nursery items and Christmas decor, online and in more than 270 stores.
Before you rely on a code, check the product page: some lines are marked 'Excluded From Discount Codes', and many code offers work online only.
Alongside its own Matalan label, the retailer carries in-house and partner names such as Souluxe, Lincoln, Taylor & Wright, Cotton Traders, Yours, Trespass and ToeZone. Clothing comes in Petite, Curve and Tall fits for women and Big & Tall for men, and a character shop stocks Disney, Stitch, Minecraft and Spiderman ranges for children. The home side is organised by room, from bedding and lighting to furniture, rugs and kitchenware, with beauty, perfume and luggage also on sale.
Matalan Me is a free rewards card, kept digitally in the app, that brings member-only offers, early sale access, a birthday treat and prize draws. Gift cards come as e-gift cards from £10 to £200 or physical cards from £10 to £250, and both work online and in UK stores.

How to use a Matalan discount code
- Matalan's code box is labelled 'apply code' at checkout: type the code there and press the 'apply code' button to see the price change.
- If the total doesn't move, look for the 'Excluded From Discount Codes' note on each product, since those lines never take a code.
- A code you saw online may not work at a till, because many Matalan code offers are online only.
- Large home items with the £10 delivery charge also sit outside the £49.99 free delivery spend, so a code can't remove that fee.
If your Matalan code doesn't work
- Minimum order: "£1 Next Day Delivery on Orders Over £19.99" needs an order of at least £19.99.
- Exclusions: Some products are marked 'Excluded From Discount Codes'; many code offers are online only.
- New customers only: "20% Off in-App Orders for **New Customers**" is for a first order.
- End date: "20% Off £40 Orders" ends Nov 16, 2026.
- Where to enter it: Enter the code in the 'apply code' box at checkout and click 'apply code'.

More ways to save at Matalan
- Matalan Me is free and opens member-only offers plus early access to sales, so join before a big school-uniform or Christmas shop.
- Multi-buys need no code: recent ones included T-shirts at 2 for £8 or 3 for £12, and 3 for 2 on Christmas decorations.
- If you can wait, Click & Collect is free over £19.99, a lower bar than the £49.99 home delivery spend.
Matalan questions, answered
How much do you need to spend for free Matalan delivery?
Online orders over £49.99 get free standard home delivery. Items with a £10 large-item delivery charge are left out, and Matalan says the free-delivery terms may change.
Why won't your Matalan discount code work on some items?
Some products carry an 'Excluded From Discount Codes' label, and many code offers are online only. Check both before you assume the code has expired.
Is Matalan Click & Collect free?
Standard Click & Collect turns free once you spend over £19.99 and costs £0.99 below that. Next-day collection costs £1.99.
Can you pay for Matalan orders in instalments?
Klarna Pay in 3 and Klarna Pay in 30 days are both offered, next to debit and credit cards.
What does the Matalan Me card give you?
Matalan Me is a free rewards card, kept digitally in the app. Members get member-only offers, early access to sales and launches, a birthday treat, prize draws and partner offers.
