About Rack Room Shoes

Rack Room Shoes is a family shoe chain with 500+ stores, stocking sneakers, boots, sandals and dress shoes for women, men and kids from Nike, Brooks, Skechers and Crocs.

Membership changes your total most: free Rack Room Shoes Rewards accounts get free shipping on every order, while everyone else needs $75.

Beyond the national names, Rack Room Shoes carries its own exclusive labels, including Bjorndal, Xappeal, Franco Fortini, Michael by Michael Shannon and the kids' label Cupcake Couture. Other brands on its shelves include Timberland, Jordan, New Balance, ASICS, Birkenstock, HEYDUDE, Dr. Martens and Koolaburra by UGG.

Children's shoes are sorted by stage, from baby and toddler through little kid and big kid, and the site offers a printable tool for sizing young feet. Adult ranges include wide widths and work shoes, and the accessories section covers socks, backpacks, bags, shoe charms and shoe care. Rewards earned here can also be spent at its sister chain Off Broadway Shoe, and online orders can be collected in store.

When shoppers look for Rack Room Shoes coupons

Rack Room Shoes coupon searches peak in August, about 1.9× a typical month, and dip lowest in September.

US Google searches, Sep 2025 to Aug 2026. Search interest, not sales.

Does Rack Room Shoes offer free shipping?

Yes. Non-members need $75 after discounts for free Economy delivery, which takes 3-7 business days; Rewards members get it on any order.

How long does Rack Room Shoes shipping take?

FedEx Economy costs $9.95, Standard Ground $11.95 for up to 4 pairs, and Expedited $22.95 for up to 2 pairs.

What is Rack Room Shoes' return policy?

60 days for unworn shoes in the original box with the shipping invoice, and exchanges happen in store only.

Does Rack Room Shoes offer a military discount?

Yes. A military discount is linked in the site footer, but its amount wasn't readable on the pages checked.

How to use a Rack Room Shoes coupon

  1. The sign-up offer is the main code at Rack Room Shoes: join the email and text list and you get $10 off an order of $89 or more, with exclusions.
  2. Build the cart around that $89 line rather than the $75 shipping line, since one cart clears both.
  3. Keep in mind that the free-shipping total is measured after promotions and discounts, so a code can push a cart that started just over $75 back under it.
  4. If you're not a Rewards member yet, joining before checkout removes the shipping question entirely.

If your Rack Room Shoes code doesn't work

  • Minimum order: "$20 Off $149+ Orders" needs an order of at least $149; "$15 Off $99+ Purchases" needs an order of at least $99.
  • End date: "$10 Off Sitewide" ends Nov 17, 2026; "$10 Off Any Purchase" ends Nov 17, 2026.

More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.

More ways to save at Rack Room Shoes

  • Rack Room Shoes Rewards is free for US residents 18+ and earns points on every pair toward $15 rewards, with 2x bonus point events and a $10 birthday reward.
  • Those rewards also work at Off Broadway Shoe.
  • Choosing in-store pickup costs nothing and earns members bonus points.
  • Site banners have shown up to 50% off the store's own brands and up to 25% off Nike, Jordan, Adidas and New Balance, no code needed.
  • Gift cards are sold too.

Rack Room Shoes questions, answered

What does Rack Room Shoes charge for shipping?

Orders of $75 or more ship free by Economy for non-members, counted after discounts. Below that, Economy is $9.95, and Rewards members skip the minimum altogether.

What do Rack Room Shoes Rewards members get?

Membership is free for US residents 18+, with points toward $15 rewards on every pair, a $10 birthday reward and free shipping on any order.

Can you exchange Rack Room Shoes bought online?

Exchanges only happen at a store, so a pair returned by mail gets a refund instead. Without a receipt, an in-store return gets a gift card or an exchange.

Does Rack Room Shoes deliver to APO addresses or outside the mainland?

Shipping covers the continental United States only. APO and FPO delivery isn't available, and PO boxes accept Economy shipping only.

How much is the Rack Room Shoes sign-up coupon?

Email and text sign-ups get $10 off orders of $89 or more. Exclusions apply, so read the terms on the code you receive.
