About MLB Shop

MLB Shop sells officially licensed merchandise for all 30 MLB teams, from custom name-and-number jerseys to caps, sweatshirts, collectibles and baseball cards, and Fanatics runs the site.

Its return window stretches to 100 days, but personalized jerseys, trading cards and clearance items can't go back at all.

Beyond the 30 club shops, MLB Shop sorts its catalogue by player, with pages for names such as Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and Bryce Harper, and by theme: Cooperstown and throwback styles, Hispanic Heritage and Negro League collections, Minor League Baseball and Baseball Hall of Fame gear, and a 2026 postseason section for the clubs still playing. Sizing covers men, women, kids and big and tall fans, and a home and office category sits next to the apparel.

The store is part of the Fanatics network, so it can also be browsed in the Fanatics app, shoppers can use the FanCash rewards program, and buyers outside the US are pointed to a separate MLB Shop Europe site.

When shoppers look for MLB Shop coupons

MLB Shop coupon searches peak in April, about 2× a typical month, and dip lowest in January.

US Google searches, Sep 2025 to Aug 2026. Search interest, not sales.

How long does MLB Shop shipping take?

The cost depends on destination, method and items, and most orders leave the warehouse within one business day.

What is MLB Shop's return policy?

Unworn items with original tags can come back within 100 days; original shipping isn't refunded.

What payment methods does MLB Shop accept?

Major cards, PayPal, Klarna and gift cards are all accepted at checkout.

How to use a MLB Shop coupon

  1. MLB Shop's help pages don't show where the coupon box sits, so look for it as you move through checkout.
  2. Before you use a code on a custom name-and-number jersey, check the spelling twice, because custom and personalized items can't be returned.
  3. Clearance and final-sale items are also non-returnable, so a code on them locks in the purchase.
  4. The footer sign-up offers 10% off, and the Fanatics app advertises free shipping, so weigh the two before you pay.

If your MLB Shop code doesn't work

  • Minimum order: "Free Delivery on $39+ Orders of Licensed Fan Gear" needs an order of at least $39; "25% Off $75+ Orders with Mastercard" needs an order of at least $75.
  • App offer: Free shipping, for orders in the MLB Shop app.

More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.

More ways to save at MLB Shop

  • FanCash is the store's rewards currency, with its own FAQ in the help pages, though how you earn it isn't explained there.
  • The footer also links to military and first responder discounts, without an amount shown.
  • Taking a return as an e-gift card waives the $9.99 label fee, which makes sense if you'll shop MLB Shop again.
  • The Fanatics app advertises free shipping on its banner.

MLB Shop questions, answered

Can a custom MLB jersey be returned?

Custom and personalized items can't be returned, and that includes name-and-number jerseys made to order.

Is there a fee to return items to MLB Shop?

Refunds to the original payment method lose a return-label fee of up to $9.99. It's waived if the error was the store's or if you choose an e-gift card.

Does MLB Shop have a military discount?

The site footer links to military and first responder discounts. The amount and how you verify weren't shown.

Can an MLB Shop item be swapped for a different size?

Single-item orders can swap to another size of the same product within 60 days of delivery. Shipping is covered and the original price is honored.

Does MLB Shop ship outside the US?

International shoppers are sent to mlbshopeurope.com from the footer. International returns go prepaid by the customer to the Ohio returns center.
