About MOTHER
MOTHER is a Los Angeles denim brand founded in 2010, selling women's and men's jeans, clothing and accessories alongside selected partner brands.
Joining the email list takes 10% off your first order, and domestic orders over $50 ship free by 2-day delivery. Read the markdown before you buy, since pieces marked 50% or 70% off can't come back.
Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding started MOTHER as two founders who came from long careers in denim and set out to run a jeans label their own way. The brand is known for very soft fabrics and a playful, irreverent tone, and it now releases 4 collections a year spanning denim, sportswear, outerwear and accessories. Most of its jeans are cut and sewn in Los Angeles from imported denim, and petite sizing comes in select styles.
The look draws on memories of a California childhood in the 70s, and the name is meant to read two ways at once, as something caring and as a swear word. MOTHER-branded pieces are covered for defects by a limited warranty lasting one year when bought from the brand or an authorized seller, and gift cards are sold online.
When shoppers look for MOTHER coupons
MOTHER coupon searches stay fairly even all year: March leads, July trails.
Does MOTHER offer free shipping?
Yes. Domestic orders over $50 get free 2-day delivery, while Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico pay a $25 flat rate instead.
How long does MOTHER shipping take?
Weekday orders placed before 11 AM PST leave the same day; FedEx Ground takes 3-8 business days, and nothing processes on weekends or holidays.
What is MOTHER's return policy?
You have 30 days to send back unworn, unwashed pieces in the original bag with the tags still attached.

How to use a MOTHER coupon
- Join the MOTHER email list before you check out, since the 10% welcome offer comes through email and covers a first order only.
- The discount box is on the checkout page's order summary.
- Think about returns while you pick a size: a refund to your card costs $10, but a size exchange is free, so the welcome discount goes furthest when you're sure of the fit.
- Petite sizes exist in select styles, so look for them on the product page before ordering.
- A code doesn't change the final-sale rule, so anything marked 50% or 70% off stays non-returnable once it ships.
More ways to save at MOTHER
- Store credit is the cheaper way to return at MOTHER, because it skips the $10 fee that card refunds carry.
- If a MOTHER store is close by, returning an online order in person is free as well.
- Gift cards are sold online, which suits a denim fan who would rather choose their own wash and cut.
- Shoppers in Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico pay the $25 flat rate, so a single larger order costs less to ship than several small ones.
MOTHER questions, answered
