About Rock Bottom Golf

Rock Bottom Golf has sold discounted golf gear online since 2002: new, pre-owned and open-box clubs, bags, carts, balls, shoes, apparel and electronics from major golf brands.

Domestic orders of $99 or more ship free by Economy to the continental US, and that line is counted after discounts, so a markdown can push your cart back under it.

Rock Bottom Golf grew out of a teenage side hustle. Founder and CEO Tom Rath dove for lost balls at golf courses near his home while in high school and resold them locally, earning enough to cover his college costs. After graduating he widened the stock to used and demo clubs and worked flea markets and trade shows, which stayed a part-time venture until eBay arrived.

The current catalog spans TaylorMade, Callaway, Titleist, Ping, Cobra, Mizuno, FootJoy, Garmin and Bushnell, with separate sections for left-handed players, women and juniors. Golfers can swap old equipment through the Club Trader and Ball Trader programs, order customized clubs, personalized bags or logo balls, and find rangefinders, launch monitors, training aids and even pickleball gear.

When shoppers look for Rock Bottom Golf coupons

Rock Bottom Golf coupon searches peak in May, about 1.4× a typical month, and dip lowest in December.

US Google searches, Sep 2025 to Aug 2026. Search interest, not sales.

Does Rock Bottom Golf offer free shipping?

Yes. Economy shipping is free on domestic orders of $99 or more, after discounts and before tax, to the continental US.

How long does Rock Bottom Golf shipping take?

Economy costs $9.99 under $99, faster ground $13.99 under $99 or $9.99 over, and next-day $39.99 per order, with surcharges on bags, carts and sets.

What is Rock Bottom Golf's return policy?

The Performance Guarantee takes golf clubs back within 90 days for full store credit; personalized orders are final.

Does Rock Bottom Golf price match?

If Rock Bottom lowers the price of the exact in-stock item within 7 days, you get store credit for the difference, but not for a new promotion.

What payment methods does Rock Bottom Golf accept?

Affirm is accepted, and traditional or electronic gift cards are sold, with e-gift cards emailed right away.

How to use a Rock Bottom Golf coupon

  1. Rock Bottom Golf's current savings show on the site itself: up to 30% off hundreds of items comes off as instant savings, and golf bags and carts carry 20% off.
  2. Watch the free-shipping line, because the $99 threshold is measured after discounts and before tax, so a markdown can drop your cart below it and add $9.99 for Economy.
  3. Bags, carts and sets also carry shipping surcharges, including on the specially marked 2-day items.
  4. Personalized orders are final, so double-check custom details before paying.

If your Rock Bottom Golf code doesn't work

  • Minimum order: "$10 off Your Purchase of $50 or More" needs an order of at least $50.
  • End date: "20% Off Rock Bottom Golf Orders" ends Nov 17, 2026; "20% Off Storewide" ends Nov 17, 2026.

More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.

More ways to save at Rock Bottom Golf

  • The price-drop rule is easy to overlook: if the exact in-stock item gets cheaper within 7 days, ask for the difference as store credit.
  • Pre-owned and open-box clubs are part of the range, and certified pre-owned ones come with 30 days of return cover.
  • PXG ball buyers can take the buy 3 dozen, get 1 dozen free offer.
  • Affirm spreads the cost of a bigger club purchase, and the 100 sign-up points start your rewards balance.

Rock Bottom Golf questions, answered

Can golf clubs from Rock Bottom Golf be returned?
