About Rooms To Go

Rooms To Go sells furniture for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, patios and kids' rooms, often as coordinated room packages, plus mattresses, rugs and decor.

The family-owned chain delivers only to select areas of the Southeast and Texas, so confirm your address is covered before you plan a purchase around a sale.

Rooms To Go was started in 1990 by Jeffrey and Morty Seaman, opened its first showroom the following year, and is still privately held, with headquarters in Seffner, Florida, and showrooms spread over 10 states. Its early pitch was that buying a whole room costs less than buying pieces one at a time, an idea that still shapes how the catalogue is merchandised.

Separate divisions cover kids' furniture and patio furniture, and Rooms To Go Outlet handles clearance stock, overstock, floor samples and discontinued lines. The store also carries partner collections, La-Z-Boy among them. Rooms To Go Business Plus serves multi-room jobs and investment properties with a personal concierge and priority delivery. Buyers can add an optional 3-year protection plan covering accidental stains and damage along with certain defects.
