About Meross
Meross makes smart home gear: plugs, bulbs, switches, garage door openers, thermostats and sensors that work with Matter, Apple HomeKit, Alexa and Google Assistant.
The company was founded in 2016. Its first-order code takes 5% off, but sale items can't be returned, so a device bought on sale is a final purchase.
Meross was started by a group of people with backgrounds at Cisco, Microsoft, MediaTek and TP-Link, and it says its customers are spread across more than 20 countries and regions. Beyond the platforms in the intro, its devices also work with Samsung SmartThings, and some newer models use Thread.
The catalog has grown to include smart roller shutters, energy monitors, sprinkler timers, surge protectors and radiator thermostats, along with a Matter Smart Hub Pro and multi-function sensors for leaks, doors and windows, and temperature and humidity. Meross says its garage door opener accessories fit 200+ door brands and 1600+ models, and its smart plugs track real-time and historical power use without a hub. A sub-brand, Refoss, offers an open platform with an API, and Meross also runs bulk order, beta testing and affiliate programs.
