About SportRx
SportRx is a San Diego optical company, making eyewear since 1996, that sells prescription and non-prescription sunglasses, sport glasses, eyeglasses, goggles and Rx goggle inserts from brands like Oakley, Maui Jim and Costa.
Ground shipping is free on every domestic order, so the savings come from second-pair pricing, free lenses and the 15% hero discount, which don't combine.
SportRx began with one question, whether prescription lenses could be fitted into sunglasses, and its opticians have focused on sport-specific prescription eyewear ever since. Customer service is staffed by ABO-certified opticians, the company runs its own optical lab, and every order is checked by an optician before it goes into production. SportRx says it can often fit a prescription into frames other shops turn down, and it carries High Rx categories for stronger prescriptions.
