About Steve Madden

Steve Madden sells its own boots, sneakers, heels and loafers for women, men and kids, along with handbags, accessories and women's clothing.

Before you add a discount code, open a free SM PASS account, because the $75 free-shipping line applies to members, and everyone else pays $8.95 for standard FedEx delivery.

Steve Madden's site carries a wide footwear range for women, from heels, booties and wedges to wide-calf boots, mules and platforms, alongside men's boots, sneakers, loafers and dress shoes. Its clothing side covers dresses, denim, outerwear, matching sets and swimwear, and the bag line runs from crossbody and shoulder bags to clutches.

The store organizes much of its catalog by occasion. A dedicated wedding shop, which includes Lauren Tiby's Bridal Edit, gathers shoes and outfits for brides, bridesmaids, grooms and guests, while the Mini Me and His & Hers edits pair adult styles with matching versions for kids or partners. Seasonal trend edits, such as Tabi, kitten heels and Mary Janes, change through the year. Gift cards work both online and at most of the brand's US stores.

Does Steve Madden offer free shipping?

Yes. SM PASS members get free shipping on orders over $75; Superstar and Icon tiers get free expedited shipping instead.

How long does Steve Madden shipping take?

$8.95 by FedEx to the 48 contiguous states in 3-7 business days, or $24.95 to Alaska and Hawaii.

What is Steve Madden's return policy?

Unworn pairs have 30 days from delivery; mailing them back costs $6.95, while most US Steve Madden stores take online returns.

Does Steve Madden offer a military discount?

Yes. Both groups get 25% off at Steve Madden; the stored terms don't name the verification service.

How to use a Steve Madden discount code

  1. Steve Madden puts its Discount Code box in the cart, so the code goes in before checkout begins.
  2. Only one promo code is accepted per order, so test the stronger one firSt. The free 2-day shipping promotion doesn't combine with other offers unless its terms say so.
  3. Sign in to SM PASS before you reach the cart, since member free shipping over $75 depends on the account.
  4. Clearance pairs priced ending in .99 are final sale, so a code on those buys shoes you can't send back.

If your Steve Madden code doesn't work

  • One code per order: Only one promo code per order; the free 2-day shipping promotion cannot be combined with other offers unless stated.
  • End date: "Up to 50% Off Your Order" ends Nov 18, 2026.
  • Where to enter it: Discount Code box in the cart, before checkout.

More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.

More ways to save at Steve Madden

  • SM PASS is free with an account and earns stars toward rewards, early access and tier-based shipping perks.
  • Steve Madden also runs a Friends & Family Sale, which was running when checked on Oct 13, 2026.
  • Military members and teachers get 25% off.
  • Prime members can check out with Buy with Prime for fast, free delivery, which skips the $8.95 fee on a small order.
  • Gift cards, physical or digital, work online and at most US Steve Madden stores but can't be returned.
