About OUAI
OUAI sells hair care, from shampoo and conditioner to treatments and styling products, plus body care, hair and body mists and eau de parfum.
The welcome offer is the main lever here: joining both the email and SMS lists earns 15% off a first order. Keep in mind that OUAI's offers skip bundles, subscriptions and digital gift cards.
OUAI was founded by Jen Atkin, a celebrity hair stylist who also started Mane Addicts, and she describes OUAI as a first-of-its-kind, socially-connected haircare brand, shaped by conversations with clients and followers. The name is pronounced "way" and borrows the relaxed Parisian way of saying yes.
Fragrance runs through the whole range. Scents are named after places, including St. Barts, North Bondi, Santorini, Melrose Place, Ibiza, Mercer Street, Cape Town, Dean Street, Laurel Canyon and Rue St. Honoré, and they appear in hair and body mists, eau de parfum and air fresheners. Beyond shampoo and leave-in conditioner, the catalogue covers deodorant, hand care, body crème, a face and body cleanser, jumbo and travel sizes, refills and limited edition kits.

You get 30 days from purchase, started in the online portal for a prepaid label. Postage on your own label isn't reimbursed.

How to use a OUAI coupon
- OUAI takes discount codes at checkout.
- For the 15% welcome code, subscribe to email and SMS first, then use it on your first order.
- Students get their code only after the .edu form goes through, and that code can't be combined with any other code, offer or discount.
- OUAI codes don't cover digital gift cards, bundles or subscriptions.
- They also won't apply to orders placed through Instagram Shop, the Shop App or TikTok Shop, so buy on theouai.com if you plan to use one.
- Subscriptions carry their own built-in discount instead.
If your OUAI code doesn't work
- Exclusions: Offers exclude digital gift cards, bundles and subscriptions, and orders through Instagram Shop, Shop App or TikTok Shop.
- Combining offers: The student code can't be combined with other codes, offers or discounts.
- New customers only: "20% off Your First Order" is for a first order.
- Where to enter it: Enter discount codes at checkout.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at OUAI
- Subscribe & save is the steady saving at OUAI: 10% off plus free shipping on subscription orders, with no code involved.
- Since codes exclude subscriptions, that rate is how you cut the cost of a shampoo or treatment you rebuy.
- For a bigger haul, the Buy More, Save More tiers are worth watching; the Oct 8-11, 2026 run took 20% off orders of $100 or more.
- Klarna spreads a payment into 4 parts but doesn't lower the price.
