About TruGreen

TruGreen sells custom lawn care plans covering fertilization, weed control, lawn disease and soil treatment, along with tree and shrub care and pest and mosquito control.

Signing up for a plan online takes 15% off. Keep in mind that the price on the site is general, and TruGreen sets the final figure when you agree to the service.

TruGreen's lawn programs come in four tiers, running from an entry-level plan to a comprehensive one, with an all-natural organic option among them. Extra services include aeration and overseeding and treatment for lawn-damaging insects, and the pest side covers fire ants, fleas and ticks, plus a perimeter barrier meant to keep outdoor pests from getting inside. Service is arranged through local branches found by ZIP code, for homes and commercial properties, and there is a Canadian version of the site.

Plans renew each year unless cancelled. Customers who skip PrePay are billed after every visit, up to the plan's annual total, and TruGreen can raise prices with written notice that takes effect if there is no reply within 10 days. TruGreen says it is the PGA TOUR's official provider of lawn care treatments.
