About True Leaf Market

True Leaf Market sells non-GMO garden, flower, herb, microgreens and sprouting seeds, plus growing kits and supplies, from single packets up to bulk sizes shipped out of Salt Lake City, Utah.

The $60 line matters most here: orders at or above it ship free by ground to the lower 48, while smaller carts pay a flat rate from $8.95.

True Leaf Market calls itself an independent seed company focused on non-GMO varieties and has been selling since 1974. It acts as steward for a group of seed brands, covering conventional, organic, Asian, hybrid and sprouting lines, that are sold only through its store. Seed lots are tested to state and federal requirements, and lots that fall short on germination are marked down in a labeled clearance section.

Outside seeds, the catalog reaches into juicers, fermentation and soymilk equipment, emergency food storage, mushroom products and pet grass kits. A seed finder tool suggests varieties by growing zone and experience, and the site hosts growing guides, a germination lookup and help in Spanish. Customers range from home gardeners to farms and nurseries, and the company also offers custom packaging, kitting and pallet-size orders.

How to use a True Leaf Market discount code

  1. True Leaf Market's checkout has a box labeled "Gift card or discount code".
  2. Type the code there and click Apply.
  3. If you've built up Planting Points, redeem them at checkout too, since points turn into a discount on the order.
  4. A code won't touch a gift card in your cart, because promo codes don't apply to gift cards.
  5. Watch the subtotal near $60, where free ground shipping to the lower 48 begins, so a few extra seed packets can be cheaper than the $8.95 flat rate.
