About Vision Direct

Vision Direct sells contact lenses from the major brands, plus eye drops, lens solutions and other eye care, to UK shoppers at GBP prices that include VAT.

The rule that shapes any saving is simple: one promo code per order, and codes won't combine with lenses already on promotional pricing.

A group of opticians set up Vision Direct in 2004, and it has since grown beyond Britain, entering France in 2015 and now also serving customers in Spain, the Netherlands, Italy and Belgium. In 2016 it joined Essilor, and it has teams in London, Manchester, Amsterdam and York, with warehouses in York and Spain. Its own lens brand, everclear, launched in 2013 and now extends to solutions and eye drops.

Lenses can be browsed by wearing schedule, from daily to two-weekly, monthly and extended wear, or by type, including toric, multifocal, colored and silicone hydrogel lenses. A brand-equivalents section matches lenses sold under other retailers' names. The site also runs an Eye Care Centre with guides on reading a prescription and caring for lenses, and it has a page on recycling used contact lenses.

Does Vision Direct offer free shipping?

Yes. Orders of £59 and over get free next-day tracked UK delivery; below that, next-day delivery costs £3.98.

How long does Vision Direct shipping take?

Order by 10pm any day of the week for next-day delivery, though a few postcodes take extra days.

What is Vision Direct's return policy?

Lenses can go back within 365 days if unopened, undamaged and in original packaging, refunded to your payment method or as store credit.

Does Vision Direct price match?

A lower total for the same lenses and delivery service at another online retailer in the same country gets matched, before buying or within seven days.

What payment methods does Vision Direct accept?

Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and PayPal are accepted on every order.

How to use a Vision Direct discount code

  1. Vision Direct takes codes in the promo field on the basket page, under the Basket Summary, so you see the discount before you reach payment.
  2. Only one code fits each order, and it won't work on lenses already carrying promotional pricing.
  3. That makes the choice simple: compare the code's saving with the sale price and keep the larger one.
  4. First-time buyers get 10% off with the welcome code, with no minimum spend and one use per customer.
  5. If your basket sits just under £59, adding solution or drops can clear the free next-day delivery line and save the £3.98 charge.
