For prescription items, PetMeds asks for the customer's veterinarian details and contacts the clinic for approval at no charge. Where state law permits, pet owners without a prescription can book a 10-minute vet call, including night, weekend and same-day slots. Horse owners get their own section with hoof care, joint care, dewormers and first aid, and repeat orders can be scheduled through AutoShip.
