About Open Farm

Open Farm makes premium dog and cat food from ethically sourced ingredients, from dry kibble and RawMix to freeze-dried raw, bone broth and freshly crafted meals.

Its US store is openfarmpet.com, and the rule that matters most for saving is Autoship: it takes 5% off every order, and most offers combine with that saving.

When shoppers look for Open Farm coupons

Open Farm coupon searches stay fairly even all year: April leads, February trails.

US Google searches, Sep 2025 to Aug 2026. Search interest, not sales.

Does Open Farm offer free shipping?

Yes. Orders over $50 ship free within the contiguous US; smaller orders pay a flat $5.99 by FedEx.

How long does Open Farm shipping take?

Most orders arrive in 3-5 business days, and Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, PO boxes and APO/FPO addresses aren't served.

What is Open Farm's return policy?

The refund policy allows 15 days from purchase, arranged by emailing or calling customer care, who supply the return address.

More about shopping at Open Farm

Satisfaction guarantee
If you or your pet aren't happy within 30 days of delivery, eligible recipes qualify for a refund or exchange, one refund per item per household.
Refund scope
Only the product price comes back, not shipping, and anything bought from a reseller goes back to that reseller.
First order
New customers get 15% off a first one-time order (max $25) or 20% off a first Autoship order (max $30).
Exclusions
Bundles and packs don't take discounts or promo codes, and offers usually carry a maximum discount and an expiry.

How to use a Open Farm discount code

  1. On a one-time order, the code goes in the discount code section under the cart breakdown at checkout.
  2. Autoship works differently: open My Autoships, choose Add Discount and enter the code there.
  3. Autoship codes only work on Autoship orders, and every code is one use per household.
  4. Codes don't stack unless the offer says so, but most of them sit happily on top of the 5% Autoship saving.
  5. Leave bundles and packs out of the order you're discounting, since they're excluded from promo codes.
  6. Watch the caps as well: the first-order offers stop at $25 off a one-time order and $30 off Autoship, so a huge first bag won't save more than that.

If your Open Farm code doesn't work

  • Exclusions: Bundles and packs are excluded from discounts and promo codes; offers usually carry a maximum discount and expiry.
  • Combining offers: Codes cannot be stacked unless stated; codes are one use per household; Autoship codes work only on Autoship orders. Most offers combine with the 5% Autoship saving.
  • New customers only: "$30 off your order" is for a first order.
  • Where to enter it: Enter the code in the discount code section under the cart breakdown at checkout; Autoship codes go in via My Autoships > Add Discount.

More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.

More ways to save at Open Farm

  • Autoship is the steady saving here, with 5% off every delivery.
  • Keep orders above $50 to avoid the $5.99 shipping fee, which is easy with a large bag of kibble.
  • A 20% off treats banner was running when the site was read, worth a look if you buy treats with food.
  • For Black Friday and Cyber week, Open Farm last gave a $5 credit redeemable on the next purchase, running from Nov 24 to Dec 3, 2025.

How much does Open Farm shipping cost?

Orders over $50 ship free in the contiguous US. Smaller orders pay a flat $5.99 by FedEx.
