About Blacks
Blacks is a UK outdoor retailer, trading since 1861, that sells clothing, footwear, tents and camping equipment from brands such as Berghaus, Rab, The North Face and Salomon.
Prices are in GBP. For a first UK order, the 15% off from joining the Blacks email community is the discount to grab first.
Blacks uses the tagline "Original In Nature," and its catalog stretches from everyday outdoor clothing to technical mountain kit. Named lines include Rab Microlight and Nebitron, Montane Hydron and Protium, Mountain Equipment Lightline and Berghaus Cornice, along with Gore-Tex pieces, Oakley and Ray-Ban sunglasses and Garmin watches.
The equipment side covers climbing hardware such as harnesses, ropes, crampons and ice axes, plus roof, family, inflatable and refurbished tents. Blacks also sells mountain, road, folding and electric bikes with cycling clothing, gym and yoga wear, sports nutrition, baby carriers and travel bags, and its kids' range includes back-to-school jackets and bags.
Does Blacks offer free shipping?
Yes. Standard UK delivery is free from £95, and next-day delivery is available for orders that can't wait.
What is Blacks' return policy?
Blacks gives you 28 days from receiving the order to send items back complete with packaging, refunded to the original payment method.
Does Blacks have a student discount?
Yes. Blacks links a student discount in its site footer, but the amount and verifier aren't stated.

How to use a Blacks discount code
- Join the Blacks email community before you check out, since the 15% first-order offer comes through that sign-up.
- Spend & Save runs on a separate banner, and the facts available don't say whether the sign-up discount combines with it.
- Try both in your basket and keep whichever saves more.
- If you're buying from the half-price multibuy on T-shirts, socks and camping food, plan to keep the whole set.
- A partial return of a multibuy is recharged at full price.
- Kiosk orders go back in store.
More ways to save at Blacks
- Spend & Save rewards bigger baskets, with £15 off at £100 and £20 off at £150, and anything from £95 already ships free.
- The buy one get one half price deal covers T-shirts, socks and camping food.
- Students can follow the footer link, though the amount isn't given.
- Gift cards are offered through the help centre, and the warranty period varies by brand and product.
