About Boden
Boden is a British clothing brand for women, girls, boys and babies, selling dresses, knitwear, coats, shoes and accessories in petite and tall fits, with prices in GBP for UK orders.
The rule to know first: discount vouchers, codes and offers can't be used on sale products, so a code only helps on full-price pieces.
Boden dresses the whole family, with its children's line sold as Mini Boden and sized by age from newborn up to 14 years, plus matching outfits for parents and children. Seasonal edits lean on fabrics such as tartan, velvet, corduroy and cashmere, and the brand releases collaborations including Stripe & Stare x Boden and Mini Boden x Polar Post, alongside partywear and Christmas jumpers.
Beyond its standard returns, Boden runs a 365-day Quality Guarantee: anything that falls short of its standards can come back for account credit up to a year after delivery. That credit never expires and can be spent on any item, sale pieces included. Through Harper's Try Before You Buy, shoppers get 7 days at home to decide and pay only for what they keep.
How long does Boden shipping take?
Standard takes 2-3 working days, and Express arrives the next working day when ordered Monday to Friday by 7pm.
What is Boden's return policy?
UK returns are free on orders placed directly with Boden, within 30 days, or 14 days for sale items.
What payment methods does Boden accept?
Cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, Clearpay and Boden gift cards are all accepted.
More about shopping at Boden
- Express exceptions
- Next-day timing can't be promised in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isles of Scilly or the Scottish Highlands and Islands.
- Late returns
- Items sent back after 30 days (14 for sale) earn account credit instead of a refund.
- Discounted refunds
- Refunds are adjusted for any discount you used, so a coded item refunds below its full price.
- Quality Guarantee
- Anything that falls short of Boden's quality standards can come back for account credit up to one year after it arrived.
- Try Before You Buy
- Harper's service gives you 7 days from delivery to try items at home and pay only for what you keep.
- Outside the UK
- Boden delivers abroad, but you pay any import duties and taxes, and free returns stay UK-only.

How to use a Boden discount code
- Boden takes codes in the 'Discount code or gift card' box on the payment page, the same box that takes gift cards.
- Voucher offers can be redeemed once and can't be combined with other offers, so pick the strongest one you have.
- Sale products are excluded from discount vouchers, codes and offers, which means a basket mixing sale and full-price items only gets the code on the full-price part.
- Account credit is the exception: it never expires and can be used with any offer.
If your Boden code doesn't work
- Exclusions: Discount vouchers, codes and offers can't be used on sale products.
- Combining offers: Voucher offers can be redeemed once and can't be combined with other offers.
- Where to enter it: Enter promotional and voucher codes in the 'Discount code or gift card' box on the payment page.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at Boden
- Account credit is the most flexible money at Boden.
- It never expires and works across the whole range, sale items included, alongside any offer.
- Late returns and the 365-day Quality Guarantee both pay out in credit, so a disappointing piece still holds value.
- Harper's Try Before You Buy lets you try items at home for 7 days and pay only for what you keep, which takes the guesswork out of sizing.
- Gift cards can be emailed to someone on a date you choose.
Boden questions, answered
Can a Boden discount code be used on sale items?
Discount vouchers, codes and offers can't be used on sale products. Account credit is different, because it works on the whole range, sale items included.
Can two Boden vouchers be combined?
Voucher offers can be redeemed once and can't be combined with other offers. Account credit can still be used alongside any offer.
Are Boden returns free?
Returns within the UK are free for orders placed directly with Boden. Free returns don't extend to orders delivered outside the UK.
What is the Boden Quality Guarantee?
After the standard return period, anything that doesn't meet Boden's quality standards can go back for account credit. It runs up to one year after the order arrived.
Does Boden offer buy now, pay later?
Clearpay is accepted at checkout. Harper's Try Before You Buy also gives you 7 days from delivery to try items and pay only for what you keep.
