About Cedar Point
Cedar Point sells admission tickets, season passes, Fast Lane, dining plans, VIP tours and hotel stays for its amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio, with 66 rides, a beach and the Cedar Point Shores waterpark.
The park is part of Six Flags. For 2027 passes, timing is the main lever: the fall sale runs until the price goes up on 11/2.
Cedar Point sits on a 364-acre peninsula on the Lake Erie shore, reached by the Cedar Point Causeway, and is often pitched as a day trip from Cleveland. Its history goes back more than 150 years, to a lakeside summer retreat built around a mile-long sandy beach, before it grew into a full amusement park.
The ride lineup includes 18 roller coasters, among them Steel Vengeance and Millennium Force, and four children's areas where Snoopy and the PEANUTS characters appear in live shows. For overnight visits there are four hotels, including Hotel Breakers and Castaway Bay, plus three marinas and a lakefront campground. In the fall, HalloWeekends, now running for 29 seasons, pairs family Halloween activities by day with haunted mazes and scare zones after dark.

How to use a Cedar Point coupon
- Cedar Point puts its code box up front: a Promo Code entry sits in the site header, right beside Buy Tickets.
- Enter the code there before picking tickets or a pass.
- The processing fee of up to $9.99 plus tax still lands on tickets and passes.
- Military, veteran and first responder tickets follow a separate route through ID.me and can't be stacked with other offers or sales.
- The military tickets are sold online only and aren't valid at Cedar Point Shores Waterpark.
- The pages read showed the Silver saving and the renewal prices but not each pass's full price, so open the comparison table before choosing a tier.
More ways to save at Cedar Point
- The Biggest Sale of the Year on season passes runs in fall, and in 2026 it lasts until the price increase on 11/2.
- Renewing or enrolling by 11/1/26 also brings one free Bring-A-Friend ticket.
- Passholders collect Perks & Play rewards plus food and merchandise discounts, which add up over several visits.
- Pay-later plans on select orders of $49 and up spread out the cost of a pass.
- Refund rules for unused tickets weren't on the pages read; the only stated case is removal for breaking the code of conduct, which comes with no refund.
