Nomad eSIM sells prepaid travel data for 200+ destinations, as local, regional or global plans you install by QR code or inside the Nomad app.
Prices are set per destination, with a United States plan from $0.60 per GB. Before you add a code, check for a referral credit, because those generally won't combine with other promo codes.
Nomad eSIM is a data-only service: travelers keep their usual SIM and home number for texts and calls, and route mobile data through the Nomad eSIM at 4G or 5G speeds. Hotspot and tethering are supported, data can be shared across devices, and a plan that runs low can be topped up with an add-on that stays on the same eSIM. Frequent travelers can pick long-term Global-EX plans with coverage of up to a year.
Nomad says it signs up more than one local network in each country, so users have a backup if one network is weak. New users can redeem a free 1GB trial eSIM, and a rewards program lets points be swapped for credit, extra data or extra validity. A Nomad Pass membership adds monthly Europe data. Phones must support eSIM, and iPhones sold in mainland China do not.

Your phone
Works only on eSIM-compatible devices, keeps your home number for calls and texts, and supports hotspot use.
Nomad applies promo codes and rewards inside the Nomad app, and its help center has a section on doing that in-app.
Choose the destination plan first, then add the code before you pay.
The rule that trips people up is stacking: a referral credit generally can't be combined with another promo code or discount unless the campaign says so.
If you hold both, price the plan each way and keep the bigger cut.
Rewards points can also turn into discount codes, so check your balance before buying a new code elsewhere.
Confirm your phone takes an eSIM first, since iPhones sold in mainland China don't.
If your Nomad eSIM code doesn't work
Combining offers: Referral credits generally can't be combined with other promo codes or discounts unless a campaign says so.
New customers only: "20% off Your First Order" is for a first order.
Where to enter it: Promo codes and rewards are applied in the Nomad app (the help center covers how to apply them in-app).
