About Eating Europe

Eating Europe runs guided walking food tours, VIP and private tours and cooking classes in cities like Rome, Paris, London, Lisbon and Amsterdam, and it's been doing so since 2011.

The saving that matters most comes after your first booking. A loyalty code takes 15% off your next tour, in any city, with no end date.

Eating Europe started life as Eating Italy Food Tours, which founder Kenny Dunn launched in Rome in 2011. A Philadelphia native, he had traveled the world for years before settling in Rome in 2009, where he walked visiting friends and family to his favorite backstreet eateries to meet the cooks behind each dish. Those informal strolls became a paid tour, and as local partners built similar tours in London, Prague and Amsterdam, the business took the Eating Europe name.

Its tours now run in 20 cities, reaching beyond the big names to Naples, Bologna, Edinburgh, Seville, San Sebastián, Copenhagen, Budapest, Athens and Berlin, and it also plans corporate food events. The company says its aim is to take guests into lesser-known neighborhoods where locals actually eat, away from the tourist trail.

What payment methods does Eating Europe accept?

Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover cover payment, and the booking is paid in full to confirm your place.

Non-refundable items

How to use a Eating Europe discount code

  1. Eating Europe tucks its code box behind a link.
  2. After you pick your tickets, go to the Additional information section and click the underlined blue link under the terms and conditions box.
  3. That opens the field for a promo or discount code.
  4. Codes only count at the moment of purchase, so you can't add one to a tour you've already booked.
  5. They also can't be stacked, combined, transferred or reused unless the code says otherwise.
  6. A gift card and a promo code won't go on the same order, so use whichever takes more off.
  7. Look at the date on any code you hold: without a printed expiry, it lapses 1 year after it was issued.

More ways to save at Eating Europe

  • The loyalty code is the steady saver here.
  • Once you've booked a tour, you get 15% off the next one, valid on every tour in every city with no end date, so a Rome booking earns money off a later Lisbon tour.
  • Selected tours, such as the Florence Sunset Food & Wine Tour and the Undiscovered Lisbon Food & Wine Tour, have carried 15% off banners too.
  • Gift cards come in preset or custom amounts and stay valid for 2 years from purchase.
  • Families save on group food tours, since children under 4 don't need a ticket.
