Katz's Delicatessen, a New York deli operating since 1888, ships its house-cured, hand-carved pastrami and corned beef nationwide, along with deli packages, gifts and merchandise.
The rule to plan around is free shipping on packages over $100 sent anywhere in the contiguous US.
Katz's traces its roots to 1888, when the Iceland brothers opened a small deli on Ludlow Street on the Lower East Side. Willy Katz arrived in 1903 and his cousin Benny joined in 1910, buying out the founders. The business later relocated to the opposite side of the street, its present Houston Street corner, while the subway was being built. The Dell family joined the ownership in 1988, the store's 100th year, and Alan Dell's son Jake came aboard in 2009 to run the main operations.
The shipping menu goes beyond the signature meats to knishes, matzoh ball soup, rye bread, bagels, babka and cheesecake, plus shirts, hats and mugs. Meats travel vacuum-sealed and frozen, and buyers can set the delivery date or let a gift recipient choose. A monthly deli subscription is sold in three-month blocks, and the deli also offers catering and Manhattan delivery.

From Katz's Delicatessen's own pages, read Sep 29, 2026.
The pages read don't show where a coupon box sits in the Katz's checkout, so look for it on the payment step.
Checkout is also where you pick a delivery date, or let a gift recipient choose one, and add a gift message that prints on the packing slip without prices.
An e-gift card can't share a cart with pastrami or a deli package, so place those as two separate orders.
The free shipping wording differs between pages: one says packages over $100, a banner says any order.
Check the shipping line before you pay if your cart is mostly merchandise.
