About Lifetouch

Lifetouch, part of Shutterfly, photographs school and preschool picture days, sells yearbooks plus senior, sports and commencement photos, and runs JCPenney Portraits studios.

School pictures are sold only on mylifetouch.com, not on Shutterfly, so any saving on a picture-day package has to happen there.

Lifetouch operates as Shutterfly Lifetouch, LLC and relies on a nationwide network of photographers. Besides picture day, it offers a Prestige line for high school seniors, business headshots and a separate Lifetouch Canada site, and its website covers the company's history, leadership and charitable giving.

Every student photographed receives a SmileSafe card at no charge, which families can hand to law enforcement if a child ever goes missing. Digital school photos ordered through mylifetouch.com are gradually being copied into buyers' Shutterfly accounts.
