About SeatGeek

SeatGeek is a ticket marketplace where fans across the US buy and resell seats for sports games, concerts and live shows.

Before you chase a discount here, know the refund rule: an order can only be cancelled for cash if you added Refundable Tickets at checkout.

When shoppers look for SeatGeek coupons

SeatGeek coupon searches peak in August, about 1.3× a typical month, and dip lowest in December.

US Google searches, Oct 2025 to Sep 2026. Search interest, not sales.

What payment methods does SeatGeek accept?

Credit card and Apple Pay appear among accepted methods, though the pages read showed examples rather than a full list. (read Oct 13, 2026)

More about shopping at SeatGeek

Tickets sold
Tickets to sports games, concerts and live shows, sold and resold through one marketplace for events across the US.
Refunds
Only orders with the optional Refundable Tickets add-on can be cancelled, in full, up to 48 hours before the event.
Refund amount
The add-on returns the full cash price minus its own service charge, and partial refunds aren't offered. (read Oct 13, 2026)
Canceled events
Events that get canceled fall under the SeatGeek Buyer Guarantee rather than the paid add-on.

From SeatGeek's own pages, read Nov 7, 2026.

How to use a SeatGeek promo code

  1. The bigger decision at SeatGeek checkout is the Refundable Tickets add-on, not the code.
  2. It's offered for select events only and costs a service charge.
  3. In return, you can cancel the entire order up to 48 hours before the event and get the full cash price back, less that charge.
  4. Without it, a discounted seat can't be refunded unless the event itself is canceled.
  5. So weigh the add-on's charge against what a promo code saves you, especially for a date you aren't sure about.
  6. Payment by credit card or Apple Pay both work.

If your SeatGeek code doesn't work

  • Minimum order: "$20 off First Purchase over $100" needs an order of at least $100.
  • New customers only: "$20 off First Purchase over $100" is for a first order.
  • End date: "$5 Off SeatGeek Orders" ends Nov 21, 2026; "$10 Off Your Purchase" ends Nov 21, 2026.

More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.

More ways to save at SeatGeek

  • On SeatGeek, the money question is mostly about refund cover.
  • Skip the Refundable Tickets add-on for a game you're certain to attend, and you avoid its service charge.
  • Buy it for a concert months away, and you keep the option of a full cash refund until 48 hours before showtime.
  • Canceled events are covered by the Buyer Guarantee either way, so the add-on only earns its cost when your own plans change.

SeatGeek questions, answered

Can SeatGeek tickets be refunded?

Refunds come only through the optional Refundable Tickets add-on bought at checkout. It lets you cancel the whole order up to 48 hours before the event for a full cash refund, minus the add-on's service charge.

What happens if an event on SeatGeek is canceled?

Canceled events are covered by the SeatGeek Buyer Guarantee, which is separate from the Refundable Tickets add-on.

Can part of a SeatGeek order be cancelled?

Partial refunds aren't offered, since the add-on cancels the entire order. The add-on is also available for select events only.

What kinds of events does SeatGeek sell tickets for?

SeatGeek lists tickets to sports games, concerts and live shows, sold directly or resold by other fans.
