About Makeship

Makeship produces crowdfunded, limited-edition merch with creators and brands, mostly plushies, hoodies and other apparel, enamel pins, vinyl figures and keychains.

Every sale is final, so the rule that matters most is choosing the right size and design up front; a campaign that misses its funding goal refunds its buyers in full automatically.

Makeship acts as a production partner for online creators: it takes on design, manufacturing, fulfilment and customer service, while creators and brands bring the ideas and the audience. Each campaign takes pre-orders for 21 days, and fans can also back petitions for products that have not launched yet, starting with a small pledge.

The catalog is organized by fandom, covering gaming, anime and manga, streaming and podcasts, internet culture, and animals and pets. Recent campaigns have included plushies from Palworld, Among Us, Ultrakill, Neopets and FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: BROTHERHOOD, along with jumbo plushies, knitted crewnecks and pin sets. For its environmental efforts, Makeship points to offsetting carbon, reusing packaging and shipping in recyclable mailers.

When shoppers look for Makeship coupons

Makeship coupon searches peak in November, about 1.5× a typical month, and dip lowest in January.

US Google searches, Sep 2025 to Aug 2026. Search interest, not sales.

How long does Makeship shipping take?

Charged per product type, starting at $8.99 for plush, $8.99-$14.99 for apparel, $5.99 for vinyl figures and $6.99 for keychain plush, with multi-item discounts.

What is Makeship's return policy?

None accepted; damaged, defective or wrong items reported within 7 days of delivery can be replaced if stock remains, but wrong-size apparel is not refundable.

How to use a Makeship discount code

  1. Makeship runs on Shopify, so the discount box is on the checkout page's order summary.
  2. Taxes are calculated at that same step from the shipping destination, so the final total only settles there, alongside a shipping charge set per product type.
  3. Because additional items ship at a discount, grouping a plush and a keychain plush into one order can trim the per-item shipping more than splitting them across two drops.
  4. With every sale final, check apparel sizing before paying: a discount does not make a wrong-size hoodie refundable, and only damaged, defective or wrong items reported within 7 days qualify for a replacement.

More ways to save at Makeship

  • The main savings at Makeship come from shipping rather than markdowns: extra items in the same order ship at a discount, and vinyl figures start at the lowest listed rate, $5.99.
  • A Black Friday deals link sits in the site menu, pointing to late November, though no terms were shown.
  • Backing a petition costs only a $2 pledge up front, and since an unfunded campaign refunds automatically, pre-ordering carries little risk beyond the 2-3 month wait for production.
