Metro by T-Mobile sells prepaid phone plans with unlimited 5G data on the T-Mobile network, plus phones, tablets, watches, hotspot and home internet plans, all without an annual contract.
The price to compare is the AutoPay rate: unlimited 5G starts at $25/mo. with AutoPay, and taxes and fees are already built into plan prices.
Metro by T-Mobile signs customers up without a credit check, and its unlimited plans differ by extras rather than by data. The top Unlimited 5G Premium plan, at $55/mo. with AutoPay, includes 25GB of hotspot data, HD video streaming, built-in phone upgrades and $5/mo. lines for a tablet or watch. The $50/mo. plan carries 8GB of hotspot data and drops to $30 per line when four lines share an account. A flat $40 Period. plan rounds out the range, and eligible plans keep the price of calls, texts and 5G data fixed for at least 5 years.
Customers can buy a phone from Apple, Samsung, Motorola or the Revvl line, trade in an older device, or bring their own phone and activate it on eSIM. Joining online skips the $25 per-line activation charge that applies in stores.
