About SITKA Gear
SITKA Gear makes technical hunting clothing, footwear and workwear for men and women, shipped from Jeffersonville, IN to the US and Canada.

SITKA traces its start to a cold, soaking hunt high in the Idaho backcountry, after which its founders set out to make hunting clothing that could handle harsh weather. The brand swapped cotton for GORE-TEX fabrics, reworked its waders to be lighter and more breathable, and moved away from leaf-and-branch camo toward OPTIFADE concealment patterns built around how animals see. Gear is tested in Gore's labs and in the field by a team of guides, hunters and anglers.
The range reaches beyond hunting layers into fishing waders, equipment and the Grindstone workwear line. SITKA runs its own flagship stores, including one in Bozeman, and also sells through authorized retailers.
