About The Gym Group
The Gym Group runs no-contract gyms across the UK, with top-tier equipment and free classes included in membership.
Monthly plans start from £14.99 plus a £10 joining fee, so the offers that matter most are the ones that drop that fee and trim the cost of your first months.
The Gym Group dates back to 2008, when John Treharne opened its first gym in Hounslow, and it now lists 264 locations. The company frames its mission as removing the obstacles that keep people away from gyms, and it works with the NHS on health projects alongside its work on sustainability and diversity.
Memberships are split into Off-peak, Standard and Ultimate tiers, with the higher tiers adding perks such as multi-gym access, guest passes, membership freezes and Fiit training plans with progress tracking. Fixed-term saver memberships, day passes and corporate memberships sit next to the monthly plans, and personal trainers work on site. Members must be at least 16, and the app and online exercise hub offer equipment guides and workout ideas.
