About Topsy's
Topsy's fills gourmet popcorn gift tins from 1 to 6.5 gallons and sells refills and treat boxes, drawing on a Kansas City popcorn and ice cream shop chain with over 60 years of history.

Topsy's began as a shop called Patsy's on Kansas City's Country Club Plaza, where it now calls itself the oldest merchant. Jerry Berger bought the business in 1948, renamed it Topsy's and registered the trademark in 1950. After a period as a public company running snack bars in discount stores, it is now Topsy's International Inc., owned by longtime franchisee Bob Ramm and made up of 12 franchised shops in and around Kansas City.
Popcorn flavors include buttered, caramel, cinnamon, cheese, and caramel with pecans or peanuts, and tin designs change with holidays and seasons, including sports-themed tins. The shops also make limeades from fresh limes, in regular and cherry, using a recipe the company dates to the 1920s.
