About Aussie Broadband
Aussie Broadband is an Australian internet and phone provider selling nbn, Opticomm and Fixed Wireless home internet, 5G SIM-only mobile plans, bundles and business services, with Australian-based support.
Its internet plans carry unlimited data and no lock-in contracts, and the current plan discounts, priced in AUD, go to new customers and eligible existing customers who upgrade.
Aussie Broadband serves businesses, larger enterprises and wholesale partners as well as households. Business customers can pick fibre services with speeds up to 10Gbps, hosted phone systems, local and toll-free business numbers, 4G backup SIMs for outages, and managed network and security services. Its enterprise solutions are aimed at companies with more than 100 staff or several sites.
On the mobile side, the service runs on the Optus network, with eSIM activation, data-only SIMs for mobile broadband and international roaming. Home internet plans are pitched at particular groups such as gamers, seniors and students. Customers manage their services through the MyAussie app, and the site keeps a help centre, an outage tracker, a speed test and a network centre with coverage maps. The company describes its network as award-winning.
