About Buyagift

Buyagift sells experience-day gift vouchers for UK days out, spa days, afternoon tea, driving, flying and short breaks, plus prepaid gift cards.

Prices are in GBP. The simplest saving is the email sign-up, which gives 22% off your next gift with no minimum spend.

Buyagift is part of the Moonpig group. Its catalogue spans tours, theatre and immersive shows such as The Traitors Live Experience and ABBA Voyage, supercar and track days, hot air balloons and flying lessons, animal encounters, cookery classes and water sports, plus subscriptions and at-home gifts like meal kits and beauty boxes. Experiences can be filtered by UK region or city, by recipient and by occasion, and a corporate gifting section serves businesses.

Vouchers are valid for 12 months and can be extended up to 2 times, at £20 for each extra 12 months. Before booking, a voucher can be swapped for a different experience up to 3 times, and Hotel Choice Vouchers let the recipient pick where to stay.

How to use a Buyagift promo code

  1. Buyagift doesn't say where its code box sits, so look for it as you pay for the voucher.
  2. If you haven't signed up yet, do that first, because the email offer brings 22% off your next gift.
  3. The current banner offer is an extra 20% off, and no stacking rules are published, so try each code on your basket and keep the bigger saving.
  4. Choose the e-voucher where you can: it's emailed free, while posted versions start at £3.99.
  5. Postage isn't returned if you later refund an unused voucher, which makes the emailed version the safer pick.

If your Buyagift code doesn't work

  • Minimum order: "£40 Off Any £120+ Order" needs an order of at least £120.
  • End date: "15% Off Orders" ends Nov 18, 2026; "£40 Off Any £120+ Order" ends Nov 18, 2026.

More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.

More ways to save at Buyagift

  • Prepaid Buyagift gift cards let the recipient choose their own experience, and they last 12 months.
  • If plans slip, an extension costs £20 per 12 months, so booking within the first year avoids that fee.
  • Swapping to a different experience is allowed up to 3 times before booking, which saves buying a second voucher.
  • Students can get a discount, though the student page doesn't state its size or how to verify.
  • Black Friday appears on the store's sale calendar for November, without printed dates.
