About CLEAR

CLEAR sells CLEAR+, a paid annual membership that sends you through dedicated airport security lanes, along with TSA PreCheck enrollment and the paid CLEAR Concierge airport service.

The savings sit in partner pricing: airline loyalty members and holders of select American Express cards pay less, so check your memberships before you pay the standard rate.

CLEAR describes itself as an identity company, and its verification reaches past the airport. Members can get into some sports stadiums faster with a QR code from the CLEAR App, get a verified badge on rideshare apps, go straight to a rental car and confirm who they are online, and veterans can use CLEAR to sign in to VA.gov.

At the airport, the app also estimates when to leave home, CLEAR ID works as a free digital ID, and CLEAR Mobile offers an app-based lane at select airports, where new eGates are rolling out. A CLEAR+ account can add up to three family members, and children 17 and under come along free. Businesses can buy the CLEAR1 identity platform. The company operates as Secure Identity, LLC.

Delta SkyMiles members pay $209 a year, $10 below the standard rate, and Silver to Platinum Medallion members pay $179, or $40 off.
Atmos Rewards

Amex credit
Select American Express cards return up to $219 per calendar year as a statement credit toward a CLEAR+ membership.
Cancellation

How to use a CLEAR promo code

  1. The biggest CLEAR savings come from partner pricing tied to an airline program or a credit card.
  2. If you're a Delta SkyMiles, United MileagePlus or Atmos Rewards member, sign up through that partner rate so the lower annual price applies to CLEAR+.
  3. Holders of select American Express cards pay for the membership and then see up to $219 a year come back as a statement credit.
  4. Billing is annual, and the 14-day window protects you: cancelling within 14 days of being charged refunds the full term.
  5. If you start with a trial, cancel before the last trial day and you won't be charged.
