About David Jones
David Jones is an Australian department store selling women's and men's fashion, beauty, shoes, home and food, kids' clothing, toys and designer labels, with prices in AUD.
Its Price Match Promise is the rule to know: if a local retailer has the exact same item for less, David Jones matches it, subject to its own exclusions.
David Jones stocks a long list of international and Australian labels, from DIOR, Tom Ford, Maison Margiela and SKIMS to Camilla and Marc, Rodd & Gunn, KitchenAid, Le Creuset, Dyson and Jellycat. Its fashion floors take in curve and petite ranges, maternity wear, swimwear, intimates, and a Pre-Loved Luxury edit, while the food side includes Australian pantry gifts.
In-store services include bra fittings, fashion styling, beauty services and a gift registry. Shoppers can join David Jones Rewards or apply for a David Jones credit card in Premiere or Prestige tiers, which earn points on purchases. Cardholders get complimentary express delivery within Australia on eligible online orders, and Prestige holders can also get same-day delivery in selected metro postcodes.
What is David Jones' return policy?
30 days from purchase, unworn and unused with tags and sealed original packaging; faulty items fall under Australian consumer-guarantee rights instead.
What payment methods does David Jones accept?
PayPal, Apple Pay, Click to Pay, Alipay, Qantas Frequent Flyer points and David Jones gift cards.

How to use a David Jones promo code
- The David Jones pages read for this page don't show where a promo code goes online, so confirm the discount in the order summary before paying.
- Sale banners such as an extra 40% off men's sale or up to 50% off cookware run on their own, and anything marked reduced to clear can't come back for change of mind, so check that label before buying on a whim.
- Found the same item cheaper at a local retailer?
- The Price Match Promise is a separate route with its own terms, so ask about it rather than hunting for a code.
