About Ellis Brigham
Ellis Brigham sells outdoor and mountain gear for hiking, skiing, running, climbing, camping and travel, from brands like Arc'teryx, The North Face, Rab, Patagonia and Salomon.
For UK orders, the £100 mark matters most: below it, Express or Economy delivery costs £4.95, and above it both are free.
Ellis Brigham began in 1933, when Frederick Ellis Brigham set up a modest Manchester shop, on Conran Street in the Harpurhey area, and became known locally for making and fitting boots. The business is still owned by the family and now has shops around the UK. Its heritage page recalls how the stores followed outdoor clothing from Ventile to GORE-TEX fabrics, and footwear from nailed soles to Vibram.
Beyond selling kit, the shops book fitting appointments, run a ski workshop and offer demo kit and equipment hire. Skis can be tested free of charge on the indoor snow slopes at its Castleford, Milton Keynes and Tamworth stores before buying. The website adds buying guides, product care advice and a ski review for the 2026/27 season, and gift cards can be bought online.

How to use a Ellis Brigham discount code
- Ellis Brigham's current sale, at up to 40% off clothing, footwear and equipment, needs no code, because the reduced prices show on the products.
- The site's pages don't describe where a code goes or how codes combine with sale prices, so check the order total before you pay.
- Students should look for the student discount linked in the site footer, though its amount and how you verify weren't readable.
- Age-restricted items don't qualify for free delivery over £100, so Click & Collect is the way to avoid the £13.95 ID Verification charge on them.
More ways to save at Ellis Brigham
- The sale was running at up to 40% off when read in October, across clothing, footwear and equipment.
- Skiers can try skis free at the Castleford, Milton Keynes and Tamworth stores before buying, which beats paying for the wrong pair.
- Stores also offer appointments, a ski workshop, demo kit and equipment hire.
- Gift cards are sold online.
- Shoppers in the EU, outside Denmark and Germany, get VAT removed but pay import duties themselves.
