About Hammacher Schlemmer

Hammacher Schlemmer has sold unusual gadgets, gifts and home goods since 1848, from electronics and toys to apparel and sporting goods.

In 1962 the company started Invento Products, an in-house innovation arm it presents as a forerunner of crowdfunding, and a Kickstarter Classics section carries that idea forward today.
