About Pact Coffee
Pact Coffee roasts speciality coffee in Haslemere, Surrey and sells beans, ground coffee and Nespresso-compatible pods by subscription or as one-off UK orders, plus brewing equipment and gifts.
The deals here hang on subscribing: a new subscription takes 25% off two orders, and subscription orders carry 20% off as a standing rate.
Pact Coffee began in 2012, when Stephen Rapoport, then living in London, struggled to find freshly roasted beans and started the business from his home. Will Corby joined soon after as Head of Coffee, and the pair built Pact around buying directly from growers. One long-running partner is Marcus Carvalho in Brazil, whom Pact began working with in 2014, and by the end of that year it had its own roastery in Bermondsey.
Pact recertified as a B Corp in autumn 2025 with a score of 106.6, and it says its prices to farmers sit above the Fairtrade base price. Its aluminium pods are recyclable and fit Nespresso machines, though not VertuoLine models, and a wholesale arm supplies businesses.

Does Pact Coffee offer free shipping?
Yes. UK delivery is free and next-day, Monday to Friday, on fresh coffee and equipment ordered before 1pm.
How long does Pact Coffee shipping take?
A single 250g bag goes Royal Mail 1st class, Sage products go tracked and signed, and other orders travel by Hermes.
What is Pact Coffee's return policy?
Fresh coffee can't come back, but unused, unopened equipment can within 14 days of delivery, and return postage isn't refunded.
Does Pact Coffee have student and military discounts?
Yes. Students, NHS staff, key workers and the military apply through Pact's own form for free gifts or discounts on a subscription.

How to use a Pact Coffee discount code
- Most Pact Coffee savings are tied to the subscription itself rather than a code typed at the end.
- Starting a new subscription is what brings the 25% off two orders, so set up the plan before you hunt for a discount.
- A referral from a current customer works the same way, giving a new subscriber 50% off the first subscription order.
- Student, NHS, key worker and military offers start with Pact's own form, and the key worker route asks for a work email address.
- The 20% rate belongs to subscription orders, so a regular drinker pays less on a plan than on one-off bags at full price.
If your Pact Coffee code doesn't work
- Minimum order: "$5 Off $1+ Orders of Bag of Fresh Coffee" needs an order of at least $1.
- New customers only: "Free Hario V60 Brew Kit on Subscription Orders" is for a first order.
- End date: "50% Off Coffee Subscription Orders" ends Dec 31, 2026; "$5 Off $1+ Orders of Bag of Fresh Coffee" ends Dec 31, 2026.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at Pact Coffee
- A Pact subscription can be rescheduled, skipped, paused or canceled at any time, so the 20% discount doesn't tie you in.
- From autumn to December, Pact sells Christmas coffees, advent calendars and gift bundles, and the Brew in a Box gift set can go free to two friends.
- Pods are recyclable, but check your machine first: they don't fit VertuoLine, Gemini or Miele built-in models.
- Pact recertified as a B Corporation in autumn 2025, if that matters to where your coffee money goes.
Pact Coffee questions, answered
Can coffee be returned to Pact?
Fresh beans and ground coffee can't be returned or exchanged. The Pact Promise covers taste instead, with an alternative coffee sent free if one isn't for you.
How does the Pact referral discount work?
Your friend gets 50% off a first subscription order, and you get 50% off your next order.
Can a Pact subscription be paused or canceled?
Subscriptions can be rescheduled, skipped, paused or canceled at any time. Trying the 25% offer on two orders doesn't commit you to more.
Does Pact deliver next day?
UK orders placed before 1pm, Monday to Friday, get free next-day delivery on fresh coffee and equipment. Later orders dispatch the next day.
Do Pact pods fit every Nespresso machine?
The aluminium pods are Nespresso compatible but don't work with VertuoLine, Gemini or Miele built-in machines.
How long do Pact gift vouchers last?
Gift vouchers for 3, 6 or 12 months of coffee at £9.95 a bag must be redeemed within 12 months.
