About Red Letter Days
Red Letter Days sells UK experience gifts as vouchers and gift cards, from driving and flying days to spa days, afternoon tea, theatre and short breaks, and it has traded since 1989.
The rule that shapes your spend is the voucher clock: each voucher lasts 12 months, and stretching it costs £20 per extension.
Red Letter Days lists experiences by region across the UK, from London and Scotland to Wales and Northern Ireland, with some in the Republic of Ireland too. Its range includes branded and exclusive days such as The Traitors Live Experience, ABBA Voyage, The Paddington Bear Experience, Harry Potter tours, dining at the Savoy Grill and Hell's Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay, alongside tank driving, Silverstone track days, Spitfire flights, falconry, cookery classes and Bannatyne or Lush spa visits.
For people who prefer to stay in, there are at-home experiences and subscription gifts, and companies can buy through a dedicated business section. Whoever receives a voucher may change it for a different experience up to 3 times before making a booking.
How long does Red Letter Days shipping take?
Digital vouchers and gift cards arrive by email on purchase; physical ones are posted within the Delivery Information page's timeframes.
What is Red Letter Days' return policy?
Unused vouchers and gift cards bought directly on the website can be refunded within 30 days.
What payment methods does Red Letter Days accept?
The terms name Klarna as a way to pay for an experience in instalments.

How to use a Red Letter Days promo code
- Join the email list before you fill the basket, because the 20% welcome offer is tied to that sign-up.
- Spend it on the voucher itself, then think about timing.
- The person you're buying for has 12 months to book, and they can swap to a different experience up to 3 times first, so a code spent on the wrong day out isn't loSt. Once a date is confirmed, though, it can't be changed, cancelled or refunded unless the provider agrees.
- If you can't choose at all, a gift card holds a prepaid balance that can go on any experience voucher on the website.
If your Red Letter Days code doesn't work
- Minimum order: "Extra 15% Off £80+ Orders" needs an order of at least £80.
- End date: "Extra 15% Off £80+ Orders" ends Nov 16, 2026; "18% Off Bookings" ends Jan 1, 2027.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at Red Letter Days
- The cheapest Red Letter Days voucher is the one that gets booked in its first year.
- Paying £20 to stretch a voucher by 12 more months can wipe out what the email discount saved, and an extended voucher loses its refund too.
- If plans change early, unused vouchers bought on the website can still be refunded within 30 days.
- Klarna is there if you'd rather spread the coSt.
